Yelapa Falls is a waterfall located in the small, picturesque village of Yelapa, Mexico. It is a popular destination for tourists and hikers visiting the area. The waterfall is situated in the Sierra Madre mountain range and is surrounded by lush, tropical vegetation, adding to the beauty of the falls.
The waterfall is easily accessible via a relatively easy hike through the jungle, the hike is around 1.5 hours return. The trail follows a wide, rocky stream bed, with occasional stretches of steep ascent, but is mostly a pleasant stroll through the jungle.
The waterfall is approximately 30 meters high and cascades down into a clear, deep pool of water.
Only accessible after a half hour boat ride from Puerto Vallarta, these stunning falls are photographed as a multi image, multi exposure panorama using a gigapan gigapixel imaging system and captures all the intricate details of the rocks and foliage.
