'3 O Clock Shadow' - - Utah - USA
The Mitten Buttes are a group of two distinctive red rock formations located in Monument Valley, on the border of Arizona and Utah in the United States. They are known for their reddish color and their unique shapes, which resemble mittens. Often featured in old western movies, the Mitten Buttes are named after the Mitten Brothers, who were cattle ranchers in the area in the late 1800s.
Captured here in wonderful ultra large format, this image can be printed at extremely large sizes with no loss in detail or clarity. When face mounted to acrylic, using a metallic, fine art paper, the image takes on a glowing and almost three dimensional appearance which makes for a very immersive experience.
